“Human Centered” summed up the second annual Design Thinking Boot Camp this year. Hosted by Design Thinking Hawaii and facilitated by Design Thinking Fellows from Stanford University, over 150 industry professionals, community organizations, educators, administrators and corporate executives joined forces at Sheraton Waikiki to explore this dynamic protocol for change.

Boot Camp highlight was a presentation by Waipahu High School who used Design Thinking (dt) principles in school-wide integration and reform. Administrators, staff, educators and students had Boot Campers in tears as they shared powerful, moving personal testimonials.
